1. What are the hours of the Corn Palace?: January - April
Monday - Saturday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

May 1 - May 29th

The Corn Palace will be closed the following holidays:
- Easter
- Thanksgiving
- Friday, December 23rd at noon, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Monday the 26th
- New Years Eve, New Years Day, President's Day, Veteran's Day and Native American Day.

2. Do you give out the secret recipe for the famous World’s Only Popcorn Balls?: Sorry, we do not. It’s what keeps you coming back for more!

3. What number do I call for lost and found?: You can reach the lost and found by calling 605-995-8430.

4. How often do they change the pictures on the outside of the building?: Every year, unless there is drought or some unforeseen reason the crops do not do well.

5. How much corn is used?: Over 275,000 ears of corn are used in redecorating the Corn Palace.

6. How do they color the corn?: All the colors of corn are naturally grown with special seed raised just for the Corn Palace. Each color must be planted in separate fields to maintain its pure color.

7. How do they pick the theme each year?: The Corn Palace Festival Committee selects the theme each year. If you have an idea, share it with us using the form below.
