The local Farmers Market will return to the Corn Palace Plaza from 4:30 - 7 pm on September 2nd. Local Jazz Combo "Tritones" will perform on the Corn Palace Plaza stage beginning approximately 5 pm. The Combo formed last summer and is a Mitchell High School student run ensemble with support from Ryan Stahle, director of bands at Mitchell High School, and Bethany Amundson, Dakota Wesleyan University band director. The Tritones find thier own songs, and even play some arrangements by members of the combo. This year they have an original song by bass player Aiden Beckstrom. Please come to the market and find some great homemade/homegrown items and listen to some easy listening jazz music being played by local students. This is a free event to attend.
