The 2008 season will open October 18, 2008 in the main pheasant belt. South Dakota's daily limit is 3 cock pheasants, with possession limit of 15 birds over a five-day period. Shooting hours are noon to sunset, Central Standard Time, from October 18 through October 26 and 10 a.m. to sunset during the remainder of the season. Pheasant Country Limited will be holding its 23rd Annual Fundraising Banquet at the World's Only Corn Palace on October 17, 2008 in Mitchell.
