2011 Corn Palace Festival

Loretta LynnLoretta Lynn - Tuesday, August 23rd

For fifty years now, Loretta Lynn has fashioned a body of work as artistically and commercially successful - and as culturally significant - as any female performer you'd care to name. Her music has confronted many of the major social issues of her time, and her life story is a rags-to-riches tale familiar to pop, rock, and country fans alike.

Loretta has wrote a string of hits that include, "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)," "Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (with Lovin' on Your Mind)," "Fist City," and many more. Loretta presented a new character on the country scene: a women unafraid to stand up for herself, just like real women did.

Josh Turner with special guest The Band Perry - Wednesday, August 24

Josh TurnerNamed by People magazine as one of Country's Hottest Stars, Grammy® nominated Josh Turner has celebrated back-to-back multi-week #1 radio singles and back-to-back platinum and gold albums; Long Black Train (platinum), Your Man (certified double platinum) and Everything Is Fine (gold).

Turner's hit singles include "Would You Go With Me," "Your Man," "Why Don't We Just Dance," "All Over Me," "Firecracker," "Me and God" and "Long Black Train."

The Band PerryOpening for Josh Turner is hot country up-and-comers The Band Perry. Kimberly, Reid, and Neil Perry are a trio of siblings raised on Country, Rock and Soul - influences that they blend together as seamlessly as the rare magic of their family three-part harmonies. Their first hit single "If I Die Young" was released in 2010 and quickly climbed up the charts to #1. The trio's current single "You Lie" is gaining the same momentum and is a hit with country fans.

38 Special - Friday, August 26

After more than two decades together, 38 SPECIAL still plays over 100 cities a year. At every show, thousands of audience members are completely blindsided by the explosive power of the band's performance.

Their many Gold and Platinum album awards stand in testament to the endurance of a legendary powerhouse. Most associate them with their arena-rock pop smashes, "Hold On Loosley", "Rockin' Into the Night", "Caught Up in You", "Second Chance", and "Back Where You Belong" and more. Timeless hits that have paved the way to their present-day hard edge, immediately noticable from the first opening chord.

Emily Osmet - Sunday, August 28

Best-known for playing Lily Truscott on Disney Channel's Emmy-nominated HANNAH MONTANA and Geri Giggles in the SPY KIDS movie sequals, EMILY OSMENT has actually been making music almost as long as she's been acting. And even though she's just 18, don't expect disposable Top 40 teen-pop on her debut album Fight or Flight.

Osment's songs like "All the Boys Want" and "Double Talk" show her fiesty side. There's also a more serious side to her as represented on a pair of ballads she co-wrote including a song called "Marisol". For Emily Osment, nothing expresses the belief she has in her musical ability better than the 11 new songs on Fight or Flight.
